Summer McClure Art

I am a Saltspring  artist  that works mostly in acrylics.  
I try not to limit myself to one subject matter or way of painting. It's fun trying new ways of working with color and the way it is applied. 
Trees and landscapes have been a theme in my work over the years as well as patterns and pointillism. 
I especially love the slow build-up of layers and patterns as the painting I am working on evolves over time.
It's a meditative, peaceful process for me, and at other times its sheer child-like play.
